Basketball Game Preview: Rosalia Spartans vs. Dayton Bulldogs

The Rosalia Spartans will venture away from home to challenge the Dayton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rosalia is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Rosalia is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 87-43 loss at the hands of Cusick. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Panthers are ranked 164th).

Meanwhile, Dayton came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Prescott 58-34 on Tuesday.

Rosalia's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Dayton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Rosalia took a serious blow against Dayton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 64-29. Can Rosalia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
