Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Truman's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

There's no place like home for Truman, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 52-42 win over the DeWitt Clinton Governors on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-36 back in December of 2024.

Truman has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for DeWitt Clinton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Truman is taking a road trip to challenge Monroe Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. DeWitt Clinton has already played their next matchup (against Kennedy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
