The league's top two teams in the standings locked horns this week, as Marlborough took home a 5-3 victory over Nashoba Regional on Wednesday.
Marlborough sits in first place in Midland-Wachusett B at 5-2 (9-6 overall).
Gardner (8-6, 0-3) is red-hot, having won six straight games, the longest such streak in the league. Four of those wins came in the past week, including a 12-2 win over Clinton.
