Soccer Recap: Fairmont Starts Season with Win at Home

Fairmont took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Butler Aviators a 1-0 shutout. Luke Davidson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Fairmont.

Coming up, Fairmont will host Middletown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Butler, they are taking a road trip to square off against West Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Butler their first taste of in-conference action this season.
