Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Extends Winning Streak to Four

Shawnee had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Celina Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shawnee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-23.

Shawnee's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Celina, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee will challenge Lincolnview at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Celina, they will head out to face off against Kenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
