El Capitan was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pitman on Friday. The El Capitan Gauchos' pitchers stepped up to hand the Pitman Pride a 7-0 shutout. The matchup marked the Gauchos' most dominant win of the season so far.

Phoenix Alexander looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
