Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is West Harrison's 14th in Last 17 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Harrison had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 51-40 win over the Jim Hill Tigers.

West Harrison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JaMarcus McCalebb, who posted 12 points and five assists. The dominant performance also gave McCalebb a new career-high in field goal percentage (75%). KeShawn Cook was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.

West Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Jim Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.
