Milpitas won against Lynbrook last Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Milpitas narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lynbrook 2-1. That's two games straight that Milpitas has won by exactly a single goal.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ivan Yepez and
Vivan Iyer, who scored.
Milpitas' victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Lynbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.
Milpitas will be playing in front of their home fans against Los Gatos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynbrook, they will head out on the road to take on Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
