Soccer Recap: Crowley Takes a Loss

Crowley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Crowley Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 725th, while the Panthers are ranked 222nd).

Crowley's loss dropped their record down to 2-15-4. As for North Crowley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-2.

Coincidentally, Crowley and North Crowley will both be playing Brewer the next time they take the pitch. North Crowley will host Brewer at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Crowley will head out to face them on Monday.
