Football Recap: Greeley West Comes Up Short on the Road Against Montrose + How To Watch

Greeley West had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Montrose Red Hawks. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Isiah Montoya threw for 105 yards on 14 of 20 attempts. Jed Hicks was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards.

Montrose's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Greeley West will face off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montrose, they will head out on the road to challenge Palisade at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
