Football Recap: East Clinton Comes Up Short

East Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Cedarville Indians and fell 40-0. The Astros were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

East Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cedarville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Clinton will square off against Fairfield Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedarville, they will challenge West Liberty-Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
