Softball Recap: Therrell Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last eight matchups, Therrell finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 13-1 to the North Atlanta Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 0-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.

Therrell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was SARAI MONROE, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. MONROE has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played.

Therrell moved to 9-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for North Atlanta, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-20.

Looking ahead, Therrell will face off against Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Atlanta, they will head out to challenge Lambert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
