James Island came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the West Ashley Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-2 back in March.

James Island's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for West Ashley, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4-1.
