Lake Zurich won the last time they faced Zion-Benton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears came out on top against the Zee-Bees by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Zurich took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Lake Zurich was led to victory by Emme Lawrence and Malia McManus. Lawrence had six digs and five aces, while McManus had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces McManus has posted over her last seven contests. Luize Bibere also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
