Volleyball Recap: Harbor Teacher Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Harbor Teacher was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dymally last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Monarchs came up short against the Dorsey Dons on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Monarchs have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Harbor Teacher was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Dorsey work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 25-13.

Harbor Teacher's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-2. As for Dorsey, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

Harbor Teacher and Dorsey will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Monarchs see the court they'll take on Locke at 2:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Dorsey, their break will end when they face George Washington Prep at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
