Basketball Recap: Riverview Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Riverview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 61-38 margin over the Anderson Titans. With that victory, the Pirates brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Patterson, who posted 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Patterson has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caiya Hunter, who had ten points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Riverview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They are 9-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Riverview's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Riverview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-34 loss against Allen Park on the 7th. Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
