Soccer Game Preview: Hope vs. Mena

The Hope Bobcats will challenge the Mena Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Hope beat Arkadelphia 3-1.

Meanwhile, Mena kept a clean sheet against Magnolia on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Panthers. Considering Mena have won three matches by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hope's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Mena, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Hope came out on top in a nail-biter against Mena when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
