Volleyball Recap: Millbury Takes a Loss

The Millbury Woolies came up short against the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Woolies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

Millbury's offense was headlined by Amaya Brooks and Kaden Ellis, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Giuliana Gerolomo and her ten assists. Brielle Brothers and Isabella Ferrari kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Millbury's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Groton-Dunstable, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coming up, Millbury will host Notre Dame Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Groton-Dunstable does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
