Volleyball Game Preview: Augusta Panthers vs. Lewis County Lions

The Augusta Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Lewis County Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Augusta came up short against Bishop Brossart and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Lewis County lost 3-0 to Raceland on Wednesday.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lewis County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-22.

Augusta was able to grind out a solid win over Lewis County in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
