Hackett had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Hector Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Hornets, who have now won five matchups in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hackett was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-13.

Michaelyn Freeman paced Hackett's offense, picking up 16 kills. Freeman got some help from Catelyn Edwards and her 24 assists. Ryleigh Decker controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Hackett's victory bumped their record up to 21-5-2. As for Hector, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

As of now, neither Hackett nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
