Soccer Recap: Taft Plays to a Tie

It was a proper cat-fight when Taft faced off against Mira Monte on Thursday. The Taft Wildcats and the Mira Monte Lions finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Wildcats' first draw of the season.

Taft's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for Mira Monte, they moved theirs to 5-1-1.

Taft won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Mira Monte, they are on the road again on Friday to play Strathmore at 9:10 a.m. Strathmore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
