Basketball Recap: Providence Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Providence can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down the Herlong Vikings 45-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Providence's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Herlong, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence will take on Plumas Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Herlong, they will head out to take on Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
