Baseball Recap: St. Martinville Victorious

On Wednesday, the St. Martinville Tigers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Berchmans Academy Saints, taking the game 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Rylin Savoy was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Savoy was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashlon Smith, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Kaden Gary was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4.
