Wilson Prep is a perfect 6-0 against KIPP P since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Pride at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Wilson Prep and 11 for KIPP P dating back to last season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wilson Prep took on North Johnston on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-2.

Nazir Vines made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those hits were his first of the season.

KIPP P played against Weldon last Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Wilson Prep suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 5-4. As for KIPP P, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Wilson Prep's way against KIPP P in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Wilson Prep made off with a 17-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
