Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Victory Christian Academy's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

Victory Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against O'Farrell Charter, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Tuesday. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.

Victory Christian Academy never let O'Farrell Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-21.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Austin Dill led the charge by getting eight kills, seven digs, four aces, and two blocks. That's the most aces Dill has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brad Chier, who had 12 kills and eight digs.

Victory Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for O'Farrell Charter, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-19.

Looking ahead, Victory Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Liberty Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for O'Farrell Charter, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Joseph Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
