The Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders will head out to challenge the Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They blew past Park Tudor 18-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Olivia Covarrubias was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial got a massive performance out of Sam Neville, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Neville a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayley Campbell, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Arsenal Technical hadn't done well against Pike recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Titans put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 26-20 victory. Considering the Titans have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial's record now sits at 3-10. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial took their victory against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical in their previous meeting last Thursday by a conclusive 13-3 score.
