Football Recap: South Atlanta Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Atlanta lost against Heard County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets were dealt a 55-6 loss at the hands of the Braves. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

Ethan Tisdale had a dynamite game For Heard County., rushing for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 113 yards and three touchdowns. Zaiden Moreland was in the mix too, providing the Braves with two scores.

South Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Heard County, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Atlanta will host Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heard County, they will be playing at home against Murphy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
