Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for St. Anthony

St. Anthony won the last time they faced Brownstown/St. Elmo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

While St. Anthony won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22.

St. Anthony pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-6.

The Bulldogs (ranked 96th) will meet Cumberland (ranked 560th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brownstown/St. Elmo will challenge Neoga at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (296 vs. 596).
