While Merrill's win against Carson City-Crystal wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vandals won by a run and slipped past the Eagles 6-5. The Vandals haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
