Volleyball Recap: Calallen Find Success

Calallen saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hallettsville Brahmas by a score of 2-0.

Taylor Paredez paced Calallen's offense, picking up seven kills. Paredez got some help from Grace Martinez and her 14 assists.

The victory got Calallen back to even at 1-1. As for Hallettsville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Calallen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Port Isabel on the 14th. As for Hallettsville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Stephenville on the 14th.
