Sargent had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Farmers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Despite the defeat, Evangel Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailey Roberts had eight digs and two assists.

Sargent's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Evangel Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-5.

Sargent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Merino on the 13th. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Prairie on the 14th.
