Basketball Recap: Chamblee Find Success

Chamblee hadn't done well against Miller Grove recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Chamblee Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 71-69 victory over the Miller Grove Wolverines. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Octavius Gresham was the offensive standout of the game as he went 6 for 12 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan McCord, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Chamblee's record now sits at 8-5. As for Miller Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Chamblee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-37 win against Lakeside on the 17th. As for Miller Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-42 defeat against Douglass on the 14th.
