North Penn-Mansfield entered their tilt with Athens on Wednesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Athens Wildcats 67-46. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Cooper Shaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 for 13 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Davis, who posted six points along with ten assists and eight steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: North Penn-Mansfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Athens only racked up nine assists.

When it comes to explaining why Athens lost, don't look at Adam Kemp. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points and four steals. Troy Rosenbloom was another key player, putting up nine points.

North Penn-Mansfield pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22 points. As for Athens, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Penn-Mansfield will challenge Wyalusing Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Penn-Mansfield is facing Wyalusing Valley at the right time seeing as Wyalusing Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Athens, they will face off against Troy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Troy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests.
