Football Recap: Bayside Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech, Bayside was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the John Adams Spartans by a score of 20-8. The Commodores haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Bayside's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for John Adams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Bayside and John Adams will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Commodores see the field they'll take on Stuyvesant at 3:30 p.m. on October 10. As for John Adams, their break will end when they face Jay at 12:00 p.m. on October 11.
