Baseball Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

If Taft was riding high fresh off their 20-10 takedown of KIPP NYC College Prep on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Bathgate Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The contest marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Taft's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bathgate, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Taft will head out on the road to square off against Columbus on Saturday. As for Bathgate, they will face off against Truman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
