Hutto extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-1. They blew past the Manor Mustangs, posting a 56-7 victory. The contest marked the Hippos' most dominant win of the season so far.

Keilan Chavies had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Hutto also got help from Jaiden Fields, who showed off his sure hands for 93 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hutto was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

As for Manor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 378th, while Hutto is ranked 183rd).

Manor lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Camden Huff, who rushed for 40 yards and one score, and also threw for 185 yards on only 16 passes. Andre Terry was another key player, gaining 136 total yards.

Coincidentally, Hutto and Manor will both be playing Round Rock Westwood the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hippos will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 2.
