South Fork proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Centennial Eagles, sneaking past 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Eagles on March 6th, they had to take a 6-0 defeat.

Mackenzie Brown tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits.

At the plate, Rachel Kramer was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Elliana Hernandez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

South Fork pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Centennial, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
