Softball Preview: Sutherlin Bulldogs vs. Cascade Christian Challengers

Meanwhile, Cascade Christian might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Lakeview who claimed the real prize. Cascade Christian fell just short of Lakeview by a score of 7-6.

Sutherlin's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Cascade Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.

Everything went Sutherlin's way against Cascade Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2023 as Sutherlin made off with a 16-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sutherlin since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
