Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tianna Sanabria and Addyson Strovel Lead Martinsburg to Victory

Martinsburg had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson Cougars as they made off with a 45-24 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Martinsburg to victory were Addyson Strovel and Tianna Sanabria. Strovel dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, while Sanabria posted 12 points and six steals. That's the most points Sanabria has posted since back in January of 2024.

Martinsburg's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Jefferson, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
