Marco Island Academy wins going away against Everglades City

Recap: Marco Island Academy Rays vs. Everglades City
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moore Haven, the Marco Island Academy Rays were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 45-22 margin over Everglades City. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for Marco Island Academy this season.
Marco Island Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Sanchez, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sanchez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelin Reisinger, who scored 12 points.
Marco Island Academy's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Everglades City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Marco Island Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Everglades City also has no future games currently scheduled.
