Softball Preview: Siloam Springs Panthers vs. Greenwood Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 Siloam Springs is 0-10 against Greenwood since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Siloam Springs Panthers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Greenwood Bulldogs at 4:30  p.m.
 While Siloam Springs couldn't quite beat Prairie Grove on Thursday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the ten-point  loss they were dealt  on Tuesday. Siloam Springs fell just short of Prairie Grove by a score of  9-7. Siloam Springs just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
 Meanwhile, Greenwood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Goblins onto the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. The result was nothing new for Greenwood, who have now won five games by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Greenwood got a big performance out of  Emmy Burton, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylee Floyd, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Siloam Springs' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Greenwood, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Siloam Springs suffered a grim  16-1 defeat to Greenwood  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. Can Siloam Springs avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
