Basketball Game Preview: Hart County Bulldogs vs. Sonoraville Phoenix

The Hart County Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Sonoraville Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Hart County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down KIPP Atlanta Collegiate 65-47. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Warriors are ranked 308th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sonoraville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Therrell 81-24 on Tuesday. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Hart County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Sonoraville, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3.
