Softball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Seminole and Northeast, and Northeast kept the tradition alive. The Warhawks lost 9-2 to the Vikings on Tuesday. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Seminole saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaydin Whitenton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Seminole has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Northeast, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Seminole will challenge Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast, they will face off against Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
