St. Charles East entered their tilt with Jacobs on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Jacobs Golden Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. This was payback for the Fighting Saints, who suffered a 60-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Defeat or not, Jacobs got some senior leadership from Nolan Roper and Ben Jurzak. Roper posted ten points and three steals, while Jurzak scored 11 points and six boards.

St. Charles East pushed their record up to 13-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Jacobs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.
