Inglewood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match on the road last Friday with ease, bagging a 54-21 victory over Pacifica. Given the Sentinels' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Tritons are ranked 115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Inglewood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kingston Tisdell, who threw for 343 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. Austyn Tillman also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Tonga's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Doherty, who picked up 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Leuzinger was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hawthorne only rushed for 23.

Leuzinger's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged five passes before it was all said and done. Amare Russell led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Inglewood's record is now 5-0. As for Leuzinger, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Inglewood didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Leuzinger in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, but they still walked away with a 27-23 victory.
