Basketball Game Preview: St. Amant Gators vs. East Ascension Spartans

The St. Amant Gators will challenge the East Ascension Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Amant has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

St. Amant will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Walker, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. St. Amant walked away with a 75-65 victory over Walker on Friday.

Meanwhile, East Ascension entered their tilt with Prairieville on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Hurricanes, posting an 82-37 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

East Ascension's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for St. Amant, they now have a winning record of 20-19.
