Basketball Game Preview: Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies vs. South Bend St. Joseph Huskies

Plymouth hasn't had much luck against South Bend St. Joseph recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies will challenge the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Plymouth is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Maconaquah. Meanwhile, everything came up roses for South Bend St. Joseph against New Prairie on Friday as the squad secured a 78-28 victory. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Plymouth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for South Bend St. Joseph, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Plymouth was taken down by South Bend St. Joseph 98-57 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of South Bend St. Joseph's Chase Konieczny, who almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds.
