After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shasta, Lassen was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Central Valley Falcons with a sharp 9-3 win. This was payback for the Grizzlies, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Joey Harrison and Alex Wyckoff did most of the damage at the plate: Harrison went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Wyckoff went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Kirack, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lassen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Lassen has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Central Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Lassen will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
