Conor Linneen of Fellowship Christian ran for the longest rushing play in A Region 6B this season against King's Ridge Christian last week. Linneen ran for 82 yards on the play and finished with 104 on the day as his team fell to King's Ridge Christian.
Drew Williamson and Tyler Hart provided fans with a highlight when they connected against King's Ridge Christian. The connection was good for 71 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Fellowship Christian's dynamic duo of Williamson and Hart proved tough for King's Ridge Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Williamson threw for 119 yards and one touchdown and Hart had 108 yards receiving. Linneen helped Fellowship Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.
Evan Kasian was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 263 yards on 37 carries as Walker fell to King's Ridge Christian. Patrick McPherson also contributed to the rushing game with 43 yards on the ground.
Linneen made the biggest impact on defense this week as Fellowship Christian fell to King's Ridge Christian. The 6-foot-2 senior recorded two fumbles.
The Paladins' Hunter Bryant and Linneen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A Region 6B in both passing and receiving yards. Bryant has thrown for 501 yards this season, while Linneen, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 13 catches for 167 yards. Kasian from the Wolverines leads the league in rushing with 1648 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Whitefield Academy takes on King's Ridge Christian. The Wolfpack are in second place, while King's Ridge Christian is in fourth place.
Walker extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Whitefield Academy, 21-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for John East's team.
