Volleyball Recap: Harlandale Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Harlandale won the last time they faced Southwest Legacy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0.

Mia Padron paced Harlandale's offense, picking up 11 kills. Padron got some help from Jenna Sandoval and her 15 assists. Sandoval was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Harlandale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Southwest Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Harlandale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Southside on the 23rd. As for Southwest Legacy, they will challenge South San Antonio at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
